What Do You Do When All the Fire Hydrants Look Like They’re Falling Apart?

The mayor of Woonsocket, Rhode Island wants the city to spend $571,688 plan to repaint all 1,952 fire hydrants in the city. Part of the reason it costs so much is that so many fire hydrants are so old that they probably have lead paint.
