Let The Blood Of Our Fellow Americans In Vegas Dry
Kyle S. Reyes | October 2, 2017
Perhaps you’re one of the many Americans who made the mistake of going on social media today.
The blood from our fellow Americans wasn’t even dry yet. IT WASN’T EVEN DRY. And yet there you all are, fighting tooth and nail over gun control, mental health, Trump, Sin City and everything else.
On behalf of most of this country, I have a very simple request.
For just 24 hours…shut up and pray.
Pray for the recovery of the hundreds of injured people.
Pray for the comfort of the families of the dead.
Pray with gratitude for the first responders and veterans who were at the concert who helped save lives.
Pray for the children who lost their moms and dads and brothers and sisters.
Pray that we can stop politicizing things at least long enough to let the blood dry, the families told about the deceased, and the investigation to reveal answers.
Pray that we can figure out some way of once again becoming one nation, under God, indivisible.
Enough already.
