T sets fare-hike public meetings across the Hub

BOSTON – Fare hikes and other actions proposed for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will be the focus of 10 public meetings set to gather input from people across Greater Boston.
The meetings will take place through Feb. 11 to give the public a chance to voice their concerns, objections or support for consideration by the transit agency's Fiscal and Management Control Board and the state Transportation Department. The control board is expected to vote on actions it may take to help close a budget gap of more than $240 million.
