Elon Musk announced via Twitter a plan to shake up how the Twitter Verification process works. Instead of the current system, which grants access only to celebrities and journalists, Musk is thinking of charging $8 a month … to anyone willing to pay.
"Twitter's current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn't have a blue checkmark is bull—-," Musk said in a tweet on Tuesday, November 1. "Power to the people! Blue for $8/month."
