WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) — Donald Trump is continuing his war of words with New Hampshire’s largest newspaper, a day after claiming credit for ABC’s decision to drop the paper as a co-sponsor of its upcoming Republican debate.

Trump’s campaign and the Union Leader have been in a mudslinging contest since the paper’s publisher Joseph McQuaid wrote a series of front-page editorials criticizing Trump, one time calling him a “crude blowhard.”

ABC says it has dropped its partnership with the paper for the network’s Feb. 6 debate in New Hampshire, due to the feud with Trump and the paper’s endorsement of Chris Christie.

Trump is claiming credit for the network’s decision. He says the Union Leader has lost all credibility and that McQuaid “drove him wild” asking for newspaper advertising.
