People who worked on the 2020 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign have a new idea: get U.S. Representative Ro Khanna (D-California) to run for president.
Former Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver and his former senior adviser Mark Longabaugh have been in private talks with Khanna to encourage him to run in 2024 — if President Joe Biden chooses not to seek another term.
