Editor’s Note: The March for Life took place in Washington D.C. on Friday, January 20, 2023, the 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
The march started from the National Mall and ended outside the U.S. Supreme Court building, as usual. Unlike in previous years, though, this year’s route went counterclockwise around the U.S. Capitol, to emphasize the political dimension, now that abortion is no longer a matter for federal courts, with the overturning in June 2022 of Roe v. Wade.
