Her license was revoked in 2013 for failing to pay a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt, but her colleagues say they have regularly seen her drive to work. That's not merely one bad mistake; that's years of ignoring the law..Additionally, a Boston resident recently filed a complaint to the Boston Election Department, challenging her residency. Lara claims to live in a multi-family home in Jamaica Plain in District 6, which she represents. It's unclear if this claim is correct. Still, it is worrisome.
