Massachusetts Rolling Out The Welcome Mat For Child Rapists

Do you know what illegal immigration gives this country?
Child rapists.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement put out three similar press releases last week.
Here are the headlines, along with their subheadings:
- ERO Boston arrests Brazilian international fugitive convicted of rape of a child
- ICE ERO Boston arrested Alexandre Romao De Oliveira Nov. 18 in Methuen. De Oliveira, 41, is a Brazilian foreign fugitive convicted of rape of a child in Brazil.
- ERO Boston arrests Guatemalan national charged with rape of a child by force
- ICE ERO Boston arrested Mynor Stiven De Paz-Munoz, 21, an unlawfully present Guatemalan national charged in Massachusetts with rape of child by force, rape of a child, and indecent assault and battery against a minor, Nov. 12 in Great Barrington.
- ERO Boston arrests Colombian national charged with rape of Massachusetts minor
- ICE ERO Boston arrested a 42-year-old Colombian charged in Massachusetts with rape of a child by force, statutory rape, and aggravated rape against a minor. Officers with ERO Boston arrested Billy Erney Buitrago-Bustos Nov. 15 in Pittsfield.
And here are some others from the past month or so:
- ERO Boston arrests fugitive wanted for child rape in Brazil (November 8)
- Andre Tiago Lucas was convicted by the Sole Court of the District of Serro, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Dec. 6, 2016, of rape of a vulnerable person and sentenced to serve nine years and four months incarceration.
- ERO Boston arrests Colombian citizen charged with sex crimes against a child (November 1)
- Mateo Hincapie Cardona, 28, is currently in custody pending removal proceedings. ERO Boston lodged an immigration detainer with the Suffolk County House of Corrections, who failed to honor the detainer and released him from their custody Oct. 19.
- ERO Boston arrests Guatemalan national charged with rape, indecent assault and battery against Massachusetts minor (October 25)
- ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present 20-year-old Guatemalan noncitizen charged in Massachusetts with rape and indecent assault and battery against a minor. Officers with ERO Boston arrested Selvin Alex Galvez-Mejia Oct. 18 in Springfield.
- ERO Boston arrests Brazilian noncitizen charged with violent crimes against Massachusetts child (October 22)
- ERO Boston apprehended an unlawfully present Guatemalan noncitizen charged with aggravated rape, witness intimidation and indecent assault and battery of a Massachusetts resident. Officers from ERO Boston arrested 49-year-old Elmer Perez Aug. 15 in North Dartmouth.
Let’s stipulate that a charge is not a conviction. But two of the seven cases above describe illegal immigrants in the United States who have already been convicted of sex crimes against children in their home country.
And don’t assume it’s a complete list. Above are just cases in which law enforcement officers arrested a suspect. That’s to say that child rapes by illegal immigrants are happening more frequently than ICE puts out press releases about them.
That’s a fair reason to oppose illegal immigration.
If we don’t vet the people we let into the country, then we’ll get some of the worst people on the planet — like child rapists.
Yet, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Boston Mayor Michelle Wu are doubling down on their support for illegal immigration, saying that state police and Boston police won’t comply with the incoming Trump administration in its efforts to mass deport illegal immigrants.
When asked about it, Healey told MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell on Wednesday, November 6, “No, absolutely not. I think that the key here is that every tool in the toolbox is going to be used to protect our citizens, to protect our residents, and protect our states, and certainly to hold the line on democracy and the rule of law as a basic principle.”
And Wu expressed a similar sentiment.
“The last thing we want is for people who are part of our economy, part of our school system, part of our community, and the fabric of our city, to feel that all of a sudden they have to retreat into the shadows,” Wu told WCVB’s On The Record on Sunday, November 17.
“We want immigrants to know that it is safe for everyone, to be able to feel comfortable reaching out for emergency services, to report a crime, to ask for help, and generally to be part of our community,” she later added.
So these liberal politicians are effectively telling illegal immigrants, which include child rapists, to come to Massachusetts — because they’re creating more favorable conditions for these illegal immigrants.
The Healey administration backs driver’s licenses, free college, and free long-term hotel and motel stays (along with food and other services) for illegal immigrants — and Wu offers no objections to these policies in Boston. Heck, Boston even offered free college to illegal immigrants before the rest of the state — using money from the inflation-inducing American Rescue Plan Act.
Pair those things and the nearly $2 billion annually Massachusetts already spent on illegal immigrants before the migrant crisis and you have politicians putting the needs and desires of people who aren’t even Americans ahead of the needs of Bay Staters.
It’s disgusting, and it needs to stop.
