206 Former Massachusetts Residents Lost Their Lives In 9/11 Terrorist Attacks

September 11, 2001 will forever be remembered as one of the darkest days in American history.
It’s a day that 2,996 people were killed by radical Islamic terrorists who hijacked planes and commit several attacks. That included hijacking American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 out of Logan Airport in Boston and crashing into the World Trade Center.
In all, 206 people who either lived in Massachusetts or were from Massachusetts lost their lives that day. as CBS Boston reported in 2011.
