Andrea Campbell Praises Drag Queen Story Hour

Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell praised Drag Queen Story Hour after co-hosting one on Thursday last week.

Campbell co-hosted the Drag Queen Story Hour event at More Than Words Warehouse Bookstore at 242 East Berkeley Street in Boston from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, alongside a drag queen named Just JP, as NewBostonPost previously reported.

“In order to celebrate diversity in all its forms, we must first create spaces that allow for people of all ages to show up as their authentic selves,” Campbell said in a press release from her office on Friday, June 21. “I want to extend my gratitude to Just JP for facilitating our Drag Story Hour and to More Than Words for helping us put on an event that fosters celebration, understanding, and empathy.”
