Ayanna Pressley Endorses Rahsaan Hall For Plymouth County District Attorney

Rahsaan Hall wants to be the next district attorney of Plymouth County, Massachusetts.

The Brockton Democrat, who serves as the director of ACLU Massachusetts’s racial justice program, recently got an endorsement in the race — from U.S. Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-Hyde Park).

“We still need people who will restore our faith in government and those in positions of power,” Pressley told The Brockton Enterprise. “I know that we will have that in Rahsaan.”

Hall is running against incumbent Tim Cruz, a Republican, of Marshfield. Cruz has served as the district attorney since 2003.

Cruz won his 2018 re-election bid 57 percent to 43 percent over a Democrat, John Bradley, according to the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s office.
