Bernie Sanders Says Democrats Haven’t Done Much To Improve People’s Lives

January 29, 2024

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vermont) admitted something this week.

Sanders said that he does not think the Democratic Party has used its power to do much to improve the lives of the American people — and that he understands why Republicans don’t vote for them.

“They’re working for inadequate wages. In America, our health care system is a disaster. [People] can’t afford to send their kids to college, housing costs are off the chart … and they’re looking at the government, they’re looking at what Democrats have done for years and not much has happened to improve their lives,” Sanders told ABC News Australia.

Yet, Sanders is supporting President Joe Biden’s re-election bid.
