Biden Said Trump Motivated Him To Run For A Second Term

If former president Donald Trump weren’t running for president again, would Joe Biden be pursuing a second term in the White House?

Maybe not.

Biden attended on Tuesday, December 5 a fundraiser at former U.S. ambassador to Spain Alan Solomont’s home in Weston, Massachusetts and made this revelation to donors.

“If Trump wasn’t running, I’m not sure I’d be running,” Biden said, according to Politico. “But we cannot let him win, for the sake of the country.”

Biden later clarified to reporters that if Trump were to drop out of the race, at this point, he would still run for a second term.
