Boston Celtics Season May End Thursday

The season may come to an end for the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

The Celtics, who face the Golden State Warriors in the National Basketball Association Finals, trail the series 3-2. 

The Celtics lost Game 5 of the series 104-94 on Monday, June 13. That put them down 3-2 in the best-of-seven series. Therefore, if the Warriors were to win Game 6 on Thursday, June 16, they would win the NBA Finals — bringing an end to the NBA season.

Game 6 in the series is set to take place at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

If the Celtics win Game 6, they will force a Game 7 in the series (on Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m.). The winner of Game 7 would be crowned the NBA champions.
