Boston Red Sox Off To One Of Their Worst Starts Ever

April 5, 2021

The Boston Red Sox made history over the weekend — or close to it.

The Red Sox started off their season getting swept by the Baltimore Orioles. That put their record at 0-3 as of Monday morning. It’s the first time they have started a season 0-3 at home since 1948, as NBC Boston points out.

The Red Sox are coming off a 25-35 season in the coronavirus-shortened 2020 campaign. The team is expected to play the usual 162 regular season games this year.
