Boston Red Sox Regular Season Begins Next Week

The Boston Red Sox are scheduled to play their first regular season game late next week.

The team is playing spring training games this week. However, in about a week the games will start to count. 

Opening Day for the Red Sox is scheduled for Thursday, March 30. They are scheduled to host the Baltimore Orioles at Fenway Park (2:10 p.m. start time). 

The Red Sox look to bounce back from a down season. They finished dead last in the American League East in 2022, going 78-84. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees came in first, going 99-63 — 21 games ahead of the Red Sox.
