Both Arroyos Endorse Kim Janey For Mayor of Boston

July 19, 2021

Kim Janey, the acting mayor of Boston, got dual endorsements recently.

Boston City Councilor Ricardo Arroyo and his father, Felix D. Arroyo the Suffolk County Register of Probate , both endorsed Janey in the 2021 Boston mayoral election. The endorsements were announced Thursday, July 15, as GBH News reports.

“Kim has been a strong progressive partner in our work to address racial and systemic inequities in both roles, and I know she shares my values,” Ricardo Arroyo reportedly said in a press release from the Janey campaign.

The endorsement is an attempt to help Janey win over Latino voters in the city, as GBH News points out.
