Businesses Can Start Staying Open Later In Massachusetts Next Week

January 22, 2021

Businesses in Massachusetts will no longer have to close after 9:30 p.m. as of the start of next week.

Starting on Monday. January 25, an array of businesses, including restaurants that serve alcohol, will be able to close at their normal times. The rest of the restrictions on business will stay in place for the time being.

“We hope to see those trends continue moving forward, and if they do, we’ll be back to talk about to talk about lifting some of the restrictions that are currently in place as soon as it makes sense to do so, so people can get back to work and back to normal over the coming months,” Massachusetts Republican governor Charlie Baker said Thursday, January 21, according to WWLP.
