Carver Girls’ Soccer Team With All-Star Boys’ Soccer Player Falls In State Semifinal

November 18, 2021

The Carver High girls’ soccer team’s season came to a close on Wednesday night.

Carver was in an unusual situation this year in that the school didn’t have a boys’ soccer team. As a result, Kevin Ginnetty, a junior, who was a South Shore League all-star last year for the boys, was able to play for the girls, as NewBostonPost was first to report.

The team had a strong season, making it to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association Division 5 state semifinal game. Palmer High beat Carver 6-2 to advance to the state championship game. In it, Palmer is scheduled face Sutton High on Saturday, November 20 in a neutral site game in Chicopee.

New to NewBostonPost?  Conservative media is hard to find in Massachusetts.  But you’ve found it.  Now dip your toe in the water for two bucks — $2 for two months.  And join the real revolution.
