Charlie Baker Campaign Raised Less Than $4,000 In May 2021

June 7, 2021

Still think Charlie’s running for re-election?

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker had another limited month in terms of fund raising in May.

The incumbent Republican raised just $3,432, according to the Massachusetts Office of Campaign and Political Finance. During that same time, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito raised $47,802.00 — a far larger total than Baker.

Word of these figures comes as there has been no word on what either of them plans to do next year. Baker has not said whether or not he plans to run for a third term. Meanwhile, Polito hasn’t said whether she plans to run for re-election, run for governor, pursue a different office, or not run for anything at all.

Many observers expect Polito to run for governor if Baker doesn’t run for re-election.

New to NewBostonPost?  Conservative media is hard to find in Massachusetts.  But you’ve found it.  Now dip your toe in the water for two bucks — $2 for two months.  And join the real revolution.
