Who is the most popular governor in the United States?

If you guessed Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, you would be correct.

Baker was rated the most popular governor in America in a poll released by Morning Consult last week. It found that 74 percent of Bay Staters approve of the job that Baker is doing while only 21 percent disapprove.

Baker edged out another New England Republican on the list:  Vermont Governor Phill Scott. The Vermont governor was the second-most popular governor, according to the poll; he had a 72 percent approval rating while 23 percent of Vermonters disapproved.
