Charlie Baker Refuses To Say Who He Voted For In Massachusetts Governor’s Race

November 11, 2022

Who did Massachusetts governor Charlie Baker vote for in the 2022 gubernatorial race?

He refuses to say.

Democrat Maura Healey beat Republican Geoff Diehl; Healey got 63.9 percent of the vote and Diehl got 34.9 percent, according to the Associated Press.

Baker didn’t make an endorsement in the race — and he isn’t telling people whom he picked.

“The voters spoke. It’s what elections are for,” Baker said, according to MASSterlist.

Baker is scheduled to leave office at noon on Thursday, January 5, 2023. Since Massachusetts has no term limits for governor, Baker was eligible to run for a third term. However, governors typically don’t serve more than two consecutive terms in the Commonwealth.
