Charlie Baker Says Restaurants Can Sit Up To 10 To A Table Now

People will now be able to sit at tables with as many as 10 people inside of restaurants in Massachusetts.

Previously, no more than six people could sit at a table because of the coronavirus emergency rules.

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker made the announcement on Wednesday, as CBS Boston reports.

Bars are still not allowed to open.

“Bars are closed. Nightclubs are closed. But the evidence from other states with respect to this issue is clear – restaurants can use bar seating for regular food service with appropriate distance in place,” Baker said Wednesday, September 23.

State officials still encourages people to dine outdoors, when possible.
