Chris Christie To Announce 2024 Presidential Bid In New Hampshire Next Week

June 1, 2023

Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie plans to visit New Hampshire to make an announcement.

The Republican, who served as New Jersey’s governor from 2010 to 2018, plans to announce a run for president during a town hall event at Saint Anselm College at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, according to Axios.

Christie has made a few appearances in New Hampshire in the past year. Most recently, he attended a Cheshire County Republican Committee fund raiser on April 21, as NewBostonPost previously reported.

This will be Christie’s second presidential bid. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination in the 2016 primary. He did not win any states in the primary.
