Chris Sununu Endorses Don Bolduc For U.S. Senate In New Hampshire

September 29, 2022

New Hampshire’s Republican governor is taking the Republican in his state’s U.S. Senate race.

Chris Sununu endorsed U.S. Army veteran Don Bolduc in his race against incumbent U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-New Hampshire).

“We’re going to be having a good time in early November,” Sununu told Fox News. “Senator Hassan is going to lose, no question. She’s one of the most unliked, with the lowest favorability ratings senators in the country. General Bolduc won a tough-fought primary with very little money. Now he’s raising some money, he’s getting some national attention, he’s an amazing individual with this war hero background that just wants to stand up and serve.”

With Democrats holding a slim 50-50 majority in the U.S. Senate (with vice president Kamala Harris serving as the tiebreaking vote), New Hampshire is a key battleground state that will help determine which party controls the Senate next year.
