Chris Sununu Endorses Donald Trump For President

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu may have backed former United Nations ambassador Nikki Haley in the 2024 Republican presidential primary, but he is with former President Donald Trump now that she has dropped out.

Sununu endorsed the former president this past weekend.

“I’m going to support the ticket. I’m going to support Donald Trump,” Sununu told WMUR. “But my focus is definitely going to be here in the state.”

“I mean, the alternative is Biden, and I think folks are seeing a lack of management, a lack of understanding of what’s happening with immigration, a lack of fiscal responsibility,” he added.

Sununu considered pursuing the 2024 GOP nomination, but decided against it.
