Chris Sununu Says Governing New Hampshire Will Be Top Priority If He Runs For President

If New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu were to run for president, his current job would come first, he said.

The Republican, who happens to govern the state with the first-in-the-nation primary, said he would not abandon his priorities as governor if he ends up running.

“The state comes first,” Sununu told The Concord Monitor. “Making sure if we do this, all the pieces are in place to make sure, whatever needs there are, are going to be met. And that’s something I’m quite passionate about.”
