Chris Sununu Says Republicans Must Stop Nominating Unelectable Candidates

November 21, 2022

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu had some choice words for certain Republicans over the weekend.

Sununu, a moderate Republican, said that the party must stop nominating candidates who will have a hard time winning their respective districts in general elections.

“Candidate quality matters,” Sununu said at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual meeting in Nevada, according to The Hill. “Holy cow, have we learned that one the tough way.”

“I got a great policy for the Republican Party,” Sununu added. “Let’s stop supporting crazy, unelectable candidates in our primaries and start getting behind winners that can close the deal in November.”
