John Kerry serves as the United States Special Presidential Envoy for Climate in President Joe Biden’s administration, but did you know that a limited liability company controlled by his wife still owns a private jet?

A day after Kerry told people who work in the fossil fuel sector to find new jobs in the fight to reduce carbon emissions, a report from The New York Post revealed that to be the case. The newspaper reported that Flying Squirrel LLC owns a Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft. That’s the name of the private charter jet company owned by Teresa Heinz-Kerry, wife of John Kerry.

A Federal Aviation Administration registry shows that the plane’s registration is scheduled to expire in October 2023, according to the report.
