Concord, New Hampshire Saw Near-Record Rain In July

August 3, 2021

July was a wet month in the capital of New Hampshire.

Concord had its second biggest rainfall on record dating back to 1868, as WMUR reports. The city got 13.04 inches of rain.

July 2021 was only behind October 2005 on the list; that month, Concord got 14.57 inches of rain. That means that last month was the rainiest July in at least the past 153 years.

The rainy days came following what had been an abnormally dry stretch for the Granite State. And while July was a rainy part, some northern parts of the state are still at a rain deficit for the year. That means it has still rained less than average up until this point this year.
