Connecticut Has Back-To-Back Days Without A Coronavirus Death

In Connecticut, coronavirus cases are trending in a positive direction.

On Tuesday, July 21 and Wednesday, July 22, the state experienced zero reported coronavirus deaths, according to Patch.com, and there was a net increase of only one patient hospitalized with the virus — bringing the total in the state to 63.

The state’s coronavirus positive test rate also remains low, at 1.1 percent.

Connecticut has previously struggled with the virus. State officials say at least 4,406 people have died of coronavirus in Connecticut, which they say has had a total of 48,223 confirmed cases.
