Coronavirus Vaccine Mandate Polls Well In Massachusetts

October 14, 2021

Vaccine mandates poll well in Massachusetts.

That was made clear by research published last week by the COVID-19 Consortium for Understanding the Public’s Policy Preferences Across States. It found that 75 percent of adults in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts support a universal vaccine mandate against coronavirus.

It also found that 81 percent support a vaccine mandate for boarding airplanes, 71 percent support one for children to attend school, and 78 percent support one for going to college.

Thus far, there has not been any public discussion of mandating coronavirus vaccines for all public school students; one reason is that there is no coronavirus vaccine for people under 12 years old available in the state.
