Deb Goldberg To Seek A Third Term As Massachusetts State Treasurer

January 27, 2022

Massachusetts state treasurer Deb Goldberg is seeking a third term.

The 67-year-old Brookline Democrat made the announcement in a campaign video on Wednesday, January 26.

“When I first ran, I said that economic stability and economic opportunity were my personal mission, and it is these values that have driven everything we have done,” Goldberg said, according to WFSB.

So far, she is running unopposed; no Democrats, Republicans, or third party candidates have announced runs for the post.

Goldberg cruised to re-election in 2018. She got 67.6 percent of the vote as former state representative Keiko Orrall (R-Lakeville) got 28.8 percent.
