Democrat Sonia Chang-Diaz Announces New Endorsements In Campaign for Governor of Massachusetts

More people are publicly backing state Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz (D-Jamaica Plain) in her run for governor now.

Chang-Diaz announced 13 new endorsements this week from elected officials in the state, all of whom are Democrats.

The 13 endorsers are:  state representative Marcos Devers (D-Lawrence), Boston city councilor Kendra Lara, Worcester city councilor Thu Nguyen, Randolph city councilor Jesse Gordon, Barre selectman Dylan Clark, Northampton city councilor Marissa Elkins, Needham selectman Marcus Nelson, Medford city councilor Justin Tseng, Everett city councilor Vivian Nguyen, Somerville city councilors Willie Burnley Jr. and Charlotte Kelly, Millbury School Committee member Nick Lazzaro, and Somerville School Committee member Ilana Krepchin.

Chang-Diaz and Harvard professor Danielle Allen are currently the only two Democrats in the race.
