Dover Now The Richest Town In Massachusetts

There is a new wealthiest town in Massachusetts these days. It’s no longer Wellesley, as NBC Boston reports.

Rather, Dover took over the top spot. The median household income in the community is $212,574, according to U.S. Census data. That means Wellesley is now in second place. The median household income there is $188,908. That is the amount of money left after taxes.

These figures far exceed the median household income in Massachusetts when considering all 351 towns and cities. From 2014 to 2018, the median household income in the state was $77,378, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
