Ed Markey Says Republicans Stole Two Supreme Court Seats

Is the Republican Party guilty of theft?

According to the mind of U.S. Senator Ed Markey, that is the case. He claims that Republicans stole two Supreme Court justices and therefore, the Democratic Party must add four more in response.

“Republicans stole two seats on the Supreme Court,” Markey’s tweet reads. “Congress must add four new justices to restore integrity to the Court, protect marginalized communities, and safeguard our democracy.”

Six of the nine Supreme Court justices were appointed by Republicans. The party did not make any permanent changes to the amount of justices on the Supreme Court to make that happen.
