Elizabeth Warren Still Celebrates Thanksgiving

November 26, 2021

For some on the progressive left, Thanksgiving Day is nothing to celebrate.

However, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Cambridge) still celebrates the occasion, unlike the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe marks it as a day of mourning.

“There’s at least a 50-50 chance I’ll burn the marshmallows on the sweet potatoes today,” Warren tweeted on Thursday, November 25. “But there’s a 100% chance I’ll be feeling thankful for everyone who’s pitching in to help make big, structural change. From my family to you and your loved ones, Happy Thanksgiving!”

Warren identified as Native American earlier in life, but appears to no longer identify that way.
