Former Red Sox Pitcher David Price Lists Pricey Newton Home

June 20, 2020

Former Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price recently put his Boston-area home on the market.

The home, in Newton, Massachusetts, covers 12,000 square feet and has seven bedrooms. Asking price is $6.5 million, according to The Virginian-Pilot.

Price was traded alongside outfielder Mookie Betts to the Los Angeles Dodgers this past offseason,as the Red Sox unloaded Price’s big-ticket contract and avoided Betts’s coming big payday.

Price pitched for the Red Sox from 2016 to 2019 and went 46-24 with a 3.84 ERA in 103 regular season outings, including 98 starts.

Price also owns homes in his Nashville, Tennessee; Naples, Florida; and Los Angeles, California.

Price grew up in Tennessee; Naples is one town over from Fort Myers (where the Red Sox play their spring training games); and Price’s new team plays in Los Angeles.
