It’s Official:  Fenway Park Will Be A Coronavirus Vaccination Location

It's official:  Fenway Park will be a coronavirus vaccine site in Massachusetts.

That's what Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker announced earlier this week. Additionally, he announced on Tuesday, January 19 that the state will be partnering with both CVS Health and Walgreens pharmacies for vaccinations by appointment only, as Boston.com reports.

Think the elderly should be first in line for the coronavirus vaccine? That's not how it's working out in the Ocean State.

In Rhode Island, as of Monday this week, there had been 51,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered. However, the large majority of that went to younger populations. To be exact, just 25 percent had gone to people ages 60 and over. Additionally, those who are ages 19 to 59 had received 74 percent of the state's vaccines, as WPRI reports.
