February 1, 2021

U.S. Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) has a positive approval rating in his state — but it’s largely due to his overwhelming popularity among Democrats.

A recent Deseret News poll showed Romney with an 50 percent approval rating and 44 percent disapproval rating in Utah. Romney has also sounded bullish on Democrats’ efforts to try to finish the January 2021 impeachment process by convicting Trump, which could lead to a vote to try to keep Trump from running for president again.
