Joe Kennedy III Endorses Andrea Campbell

April 28, 2022

Former U.S. Representative Joseph P. Kennedy III (D-Newton) likes what he sees from former Boston city councilor Andrea Campbell.

Kennedy endorsed the fellow Democrat in her bid for Massachusetts attorney general. The other two Democrats in the race are Brookline labor attorney Shannon Liss-Riordan and Quentin Palfrey, the Democratic Party’s 2018 lieutenant governor candidate.

“I’m thrilled to be here to support the councilor and her run for Attorney General,” Kennedy told WBSM (a New Bedford radio station) of Campbell. “I’ve had deep respect and admiration for her and career in public service. She has consistently sought to try to make sure that the structures of our government adequately and fairly representing every single person, regardless of size or stature. Her own personal story is extraordinary and inspiring and I think is a real testament to the type of leader she is and type of leader she will be in the Attorney General’s office.”
