Kamala Harris Expected To Make New Hampshire Appearance On Friday, April 23

Vice President Kamala Harris plans to be in New Hampshire on Friday this week. Harris will make at least one stop, possibly more, in the Laconia-Plymouth area, as WMUR reports.

It would be the first visit to New Hampshire for Harris since September 2019 when she was running for president. More details about her whereabouts will likely be made public later in the week.

Harris is the first nonwhite vice president and the first woman to hold the post. She dropped out of the presidential primary before the Iowa caucuses.

This won’t be the Biden administration’s first high-profile visit to the state. Former first lady Jill Biden visited Christa McAuliffe School in Concord last month.

New Hampshire has traditionally held the first presidential primary in the nation. It is considered key to the hopes of presidential contenders.
