Kamala Harris Leads Donald Trump In New Hampshire, New Poll Finds

August 2, 2024

Vice President Kamala Harris may have a solid lead in New Hampshire over former President Donald Trump, a new poll shows.

The Emerson College/WHDH poll found that Harris leads Trump 48 percent to 41 percent, while Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has 6 percent support. The seven-point lead for Harris is larger than the poll’s three-point margin of error.

Housing affordability (30 percent) and the economy (30 percent) are the top two issues for New Hampshire voters, according to the poll. Issues like immigration (7percent) and abortion (4 percent) are lower priorities for the state’s voters.

Democrats have won New Hampshire in every presidential election since 2004.
