Katherine Clark Says Abortion Is The Biggest Political Issue In 2024

February 9, 2024

U.S. Representative Katherine Clark (D-Revere) says she thinks abortion is the biggest political issue in 2024, and she slammed Republican lawmakers who want to restrict it.

“Wherever we travel across the country, whoever we talk to, abortion is top of mind for our constituents and for voters. Millions of people are suffering under the brutality of MAGA abortion bans,” Clark said in a press release from her office. “And those in states that still have protected abortion access are scared of the GOP’s march to a national abortion ban.”

While Clark labeled abortion bans as MAGA, short for “Make America Great Again,” former President Donald Trump has faced criticism claiming he he is not pro-life. Trump called the heartbeat bill Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law last year “terrible” — not because it allows abortion for the first six weeks of a pregnancy, but because he thinks it’s too strict.
