Leah Cole Allen Collects Enough Signatures To Make The Ballot For GOP Lieutenant Governor Primary

May 19, 2022

Leah Cole Allen has collected enough signatures to get onto the September 2022 primary ballot.

The Republican lieutenant governor candidate, unofficial running mate of former state representative Geoff Diehl (R-Whitman), said she submitted 13,777 certified signatures — which is more than the 10,000 required to make the ballot.

“I am very proud of my campaign for having achieved this important milestone so quickly,” Allen said in a press release. “With the Republican State Convention just days away, we have strong momentum and our campaign is building support each and every day. I appreciate the opportunity to campaign alongside Geoff Diehl as we seek to make Massachusetts a better place to live.”

Signatures of registered voters have to be certified by town clerks and then by the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s office.
