Member of the Sunrise Movement from the Tempe, Arizona area made a cross-country trip. They flew from Arizona and planned to fly to Boston to confront U.S. Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-Arizona) at The Boston Marathon. However, their connector flight got cancelled, so they drove 10 hours instead.
It turns out that Sinema didn’t run the marathon after all. She has a broken foot and couldn’t compete, as Newsweek reports.
Sinema has been the source of frustration for many on the left as of late. A moderate Democrat, she has expressed opposition to President Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion so-called Build Back Better plan.
There have been a handful of left-wing activists who have recorded themselves confronting Sinema in public as of late, including a group that followed her into a bathroom in Arizona.
