Liberal Election Forecaster Favors Maura Healey In Massachusetts Governor’s Race

Who is favored to win the race to be the next governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts? Election forecaster Sabato’s Crystal Ball thinks the Democratic Party will win the seat.

The election forecaster put Massachusetts in the safe Democratic category along with California, Illinois, New York, and Maryland.

In Massachusetts, former state representative Geoff Diehl (R-Whitman) is running against Democratic attorney general Maura Healey, meaning that the forecaster thinks that Healey will win the race.

Larry Sabato, who runs the election forecasting site, has been the subject of controversy in the past. For example, he is no fan of former president Donald Trump and tweeted he had the “worst presidency in U.S. history.”
