Maggie Hassan Leads U.S. Senate Poll By Double Digits

Will U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-New Hampshire) retain her seat in the United States Senate?

She is the favorite to do so, according to a recently-released Emerson College poll. In it, Hassan leads her Republican opponent, U.S. Army veteran Don Bolduc, by 11 points (51 percent to 40 percent).

Although Hassan is said to have a double-digit lead, Spencer Kimball, the executive director of Emerson College Polling, doesn’t think it will be a lopsided race.

“Something to really keep in mind here is that Bolduc just came out of a divisive primary and so, we see some Republican votes still sitting on the sideline,” Kimball told WHDH. “I expect this race to tighten in the next couple of weeks.”
