Manny Delcarmen Hired As College Baseball Coach In Boston

Former Boston Red Sox pitcher and 2007 World Series champion Manny Delcarmen has a new job.

The Jamaica Plain native is now an assistant college baseball coach at Fisher College in Boston, according to press release issued by the school’s athletic department. The school made the hire earlier this month. 

Fisher College competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). It is not affiliated with the NCAA.

Delcarmen pitched for the Boston Red Sox from 2005 to 2010. Delcarmen previously served as a Red Sox analyst for NESN and worked as a bartender at Adria Restaurant & Banquet Facility in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
